Donor Information

There are many ways for you to partner with University Church as it strives to meet the needs of the University of Kansas community. We commonly refer to them as Core Team Opportunities. We would welcome your participation in any or all of these areas. If you desire to participate, please contact us.

Level One: Prayer Partner
We believe that this is the most fundamental level of participation. Those who participate with us at this level are asked to pray daily for this ministry, our staff members, the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Kansas. We also provide a bi-weekly newsletter that lists additional prayer concerns and praises.

Level Two: Financial Contributor
Ministry requires money. These monies are used specifically to reach our University community with the gospel, supply weekly discipleship and worship opportunities, and afford our campus ministry center. A list of our specific programs is available on our Programs page.

Level Three: Ministry Participant
People may participate by donating their time and talents. We invite your creativity in this area. Here are some examples: there is a couple who participate in our weekly "Connection and Direction" meeting by leading worship and building relationships with the students; a Sunday School class from another Nazarene Church has offered to perform remodeling services for the campus ministry center; and, a builder in Johnson County has offered to get us materials for any remodeling at his cost as well as coordinating the volunteer help.

Level Four: Launch Team Member
A Launch Team Member is someone who identifies with what we are doing here at KU and desires to help out indefinitely. These are the people that participate in preparing for the launch of University Church.

Expectations for launch team members of University Church
• Pray regularly.
• Worship with us (when that is available).
• Desire to grow spiritually.
• Tithe regularly to UC.
• Serve/Minister to the community.
• Attend leadership events.
• Agree with the Mission of UC.
• Invite/Welcome others.
